Younis, Misbah hold up Sri Lanka

Younis and Misbah had scored at more than three runs an over before tea, yet they included just 47 runs in 21 overs in a last session reduced by awful light. A characteristic of their innings was the way they played Herath, thrusting forward to scope and driving with the turn through the off side. The batting and its pace seemed homogenous, with Younis arriving at his half-century off 109 balls and Misbah getting his off 108. They were the main explanation for why Pakistan were not lost.
