Pakistan take fight into final day

Pakistan's guide Misbah-ul-Haq batted with boundless tolerance and tenderfoot Sarfraz Ahmed punched his path to a lady half-century to give their side a hint of something better over the horizon of sparing a Test that once appeared lost. Pakistan meticulously aggregated 198 runs on the fourth day however lost just four wickets, and with some downpour gauge in Dubai on Sunday, Sri Lanka could get anxious if Sarfraz and the tail grow the lead much past 107.
